Professional Experience Summary
Diana has over twenty-two years of experience and demonstrated expertise in DoD contracting, acquisition strategy development and implementation, and acquisition reform. In her sixteen years with the Air Force as a contracting officer, procurement analyst, and integrated product team (IPT) leader, she developed specific skills related to the acquisition of major weapon systems, services, and science & technology. She provided expert business advice on the development and production of chemical/biological warfare, F100 engines, B-52 modernization, and covert programs. While an analyst in two major command headquarters, she created and oversaw command acquisition policies in source selection and past performance. As a senior member of the Air Force's Centralized Request for Proposal Support Team, Diana acted as a consultant throughout the command to lead program offices in the development of acquisition strategies and successful application of acquisition reform tenets. She was a deputy project manager and the Acquisition and Contracting Leader in the Pentagon Renovation Program, overseeing contracts valued at $4+ billion for construction, services, and information technology. She played a leading role in turning around failing business processes and introduced new acquisition concepts to the Program that are directly accountable for its overwhelming success.
